With over 15 years’ experience working with children and teenagers across education, children’s services and the NHS CAMHS, Ian is dedicated to improving the lives of young people. This experience, coupled with teaching, social work, and therapeutic qualifications, provide Ian with a holistic understanding of young people’s challenges. He is passionate about making a difference in young people's lives, helping them build strength and develop good emotional health for a hopeful future.
Ian made to the move into therapeutic work so he could focus on individuals and meeting their needs. As a qualified therapist, Ian has experience utilising a variety of therapeutic models to support young people’s mental health needs. Ian specialises in trauma and is accredited in EMDR, a well-recognised way to help those who have been through difficult experiences. This technique allows him to guide clients as they work towards moving on from past experiences and living the best life possible.
